Health Care In America

Americans are deeply concerned about the cost of health care and access to affordable medical insurance. However, a reform that would create another over-regulated government run system, an approach already proven ineffective in countries around the globe, is not the solution.

The high cost and inefficiency of existing federal programs such as Medicaid limit access to health care services and cause confusion, particularly for America’s poorest citizens. With an obligation of approximately $5,000,000,000,000 over the next 10 years, the Medicaid program alone requires an ever increasing share of state budgets presenting additional obstacles to our economic welfare.

	I want everybody to have health care but I don’t want a system where someone like my husband who works very hard has to queue up in a line for 3 hours just to get something taken care of.
	Do I think the government should take care of me? No. But the thing is I’m paying $1,400 a month through my employer but if I get my own I can cut that in half……
	I’m concerned that health care reform will increase the cost and lower the delivery of the services
	When you look at a family’s funding, outside of their home, their shelter, their cost of health care rivals their mortgage..
	We’re so far in debt now, and now they’re talking about another trillion dollars with the health care system
	I think we have to do something about health care because if you’ve had any illness in your family you know the outrageous costs
	I got three grown children, not retired military, and they are very concerned about health care
