We have a solemn obligation to every American to protect Social Security and ensure it is viable for current and future generations. Social Security is a promise made to, and earned by, every American worker – and promises made must be kept by our federal government.
Our solemn obligation to seniors means we must not cut the Social Security benefits they receive or move to privatize their Social Security.
I will guard the Social Security benefits earned by our nation’s seniors by ensuring they are not subject to raised retirement ages and increased taxes.
Instead of cutting benefits received by seniors, I will focus on renewing America and returning our country to prosperity so that we can meet our financial obligations.
I will use my 25 years of real world business experience to create the best economic environment for job creation. By getting America back to work and controlling spending, America will remain strong and be able to meet our commitment to our nation’s seniors, without renegotiating our promise. If given the privilege to serve you and your family as your Representative, I will make it a top priority to protect Social Security and ensure that it is secure for future generations.
