Jeanine McDonnell
Governor Bob McDonnell’s daughter, Jeanine, endorsed Scott in these words: “Scott is a self made businessman who has created hundreds of jobs here in Hampton Roads, and he knows the right policies to get our economy moving again. More than ever, we must have a conservative leader in Washington, like Scott Rigell, who will stop the out of control spending for future generations. We also need a Congressman for Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore who can work with our new Governor to help solve our transportation problems and promote new sources of energy off our coast.”

Maureen McDonnell
Sister of Governor Bob McDonnell, Maureen McDonnell is a compelling advocate for Scott. “As a former IBM executive, I know first hand that Washington’s fiscal mismanagement, over-regulation and high taxes can be so harmful for businesses seeking to grow and hire new workers. Scott Rigell is exactly the man we need in Washington; someone who has literally created hundreds of new jobs and will always be a friend to small business. I’ve known Scott Rigell for well over two decades and he’s the type of common sense, conservative leader we need in Washington and that’s why he has my full support to represent Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore” |

Hon. Thelma Drake
Former Congresswoman, Thelma Drake, endorses Scott Rigell as the leader to represent the 2nd District in Congress. “Scott has spent years being engaged in our community, he understands the problems that many of us face, and he’s taken his time and his efforts to make a better life for those of us here in Hampton Roads. Scott Rigell is a successful businessman and he understands what it is like to create jobs, to sign paychecks and make tough decisions, and he understands how government can have such impact on business.” |
Harvey Bryant
The Commonwealth’s Attorney for Virginia Beach, Harvey Bryant, endorses Scott Rigell for Congress because, in his words: “Scott understands that public safety is the first priority of government at the local and the national level. Scott will be an ardent supporter of local law enforcement agencies and our armed forces, seeing that they both have the necessary funding and legislation to do the best job to help keep us safe.” |

James Church
Nearly 20 years ago James Church came to work with Scott, steadily rising through the ranks of Freedom Automotive Group to his current position as President. Speaking about his friend and mentor, Scott Rigell, James said: “I’ve learned so much from Scott. He is a leader. He is a man of high integrity. Scott believes in family and in helping all. Scott’s a man that wants only the best for the community.” |
Mary Blake Bohlander
A long time friend of the Rigell family, Mary Blake Bohlander is just one among many young leaders that Scott has inspired. She has this to say: “Scott is a very humble man. He’s been very successful but he’s not one to talk about it. He doesn’t think highly of himself, he thinks about others.” |
Jeff McWaters
Retired Chairman of Amerigroup and State Senator, Jeff McWaters, has known Scott for almost twenty years. Both self-made men, Jeff had this to say about Scott: ” His skills match up perfectly with what our country needs.” “He brought himself up by his own bootstraps…and now he wants to give back and help our country.” |
Roger Orozco
Scott met Roger Orozco while on a mission trip to an orphanage in Nicaragua. Over the course of several visits, Scott and Roger developed a friendship that led to a invitation to live with the Rigell family, and study in the US. Roger was recently married and he and his wife continue to be a part of the extended Rigell family.” Scott taught me a lot of great principles. One of them was to work hard. I just finished college and have a great job. I’m so glad I know Scott.” |
Christina White
Through her friendship with Lindsey Rigell, Christina White came to know Scott and the entire Rigell family. Scott’s example as a father and leader made a profound impression on her. “One thing I know about Scott is that he has an incredible work ethic. He just gives 150% all the time. It’s who he is and he embodies it daily.” |
